Japan scrambles jets to Russian spy planes in Sea of Japan, East China Sea August 17, 2023 at 11:06PM

Japan's defence ministry said on Friday it scrambled fighter jets to two Russian IL-38 information-gathering aircraft spotted flying back and forth between the Sea of Japan and the East China Sea.
