A 31-year-old American man has been charged with rape, murder, and attempted murder for attacking two fellow US tourists near the Neuschwanstein castle in Germany. The man allegedly persuaded the women to follow him down a trail and then forcibly undressed and sexually assaulted one of them. When the other woman tried to intervene, he pushed her down a steep slope, causing her injuries. The suspect is also charged with possession of child pornography.
