Tens of thousands evacuated as China hit by torrential rain July 30, 2023 at 12:15AM

Typhoon Doksuri has prompted the evacuation of tens of thousands of individuals from flood-prone areas in the Chinese capital of Beijing after battering the Philippines and parts of China since Friday. More than 27,000 people in high-risk areas of the capital have been evacuated and another 20,000 were relocated from parts of Hebei’s capital, Shijiazhuang.
