By a 23-17 vote that hewed along party lines, the US House of Representatives’ Judiciary Committee on Friday approved two articles of impeachment accusing President Donald Trump of abuse of power and obstruction of Congress. The matter now goes before the full 435-member House where Democrats have a comfortable 233-197 majority.
