On September 14, 1901, Theodore Roosevelt became US president in the library of Ansley Wilcox’s Buffalo home after William McKinley died. For the 125th anniversary, the Theodore Roosevelt Inaugural Site recreate the ceremony in the same room. Actor Joe Wiegand portray Roosevelt, arriving in Buffalo by train before taking the 35-word presidential oath.
