US to provide Ukraine $1.2 billion in long-term security aid May 08, 2023 at 05:20PM

The US plans to provide $1.2bn in long-term military aid to Ukraine for air defense as Russia continues its attack. The money will be provided under the Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative, and will fund drones, air-defense systems, air-defense munitions, rocket systems, satellite imagery assistance, as well as ongoing maintenance and spare parts.
