Russian defence minister Sergei Shoigu ordered generals to prioritise destroying Ukraine's long-range missile and artillery weapons after Western-supplied weapons were used to strike Russian supply lines. The United States and its allies have supplied billions of dollars' worth of weaponry to Ukraine since Russia invaded on February 24, including long-range arms.
